WORLD TRADE CENTERS ASSOCIATION
WTCA 39th General Assembly
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
November 7-10, 2008

The World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) is dedicated to the establishment and effective operation of World Trade Centers (WTCs) throughout the world. For 38 years the WTCA’s global trade network has fostered friendships among business leaders through its motto “Peace and Stability Through Trade”. The WTCA is a membership association that has established service quality standards and provides the program for it members. Today, there are 309 “World Trade Center’s: Servicing the Globe” in 90 countries on 6 continents, servicing more than 750,000 affiliated companies. WTCs create a “one stop global network” for international business, enabling buyers and sellers opportunities to increase market share at a minimal additional cost and an accelerated pace.

EVENT MISSION
The General Assembly (GA) provides today’s influential decision-makers
understanding and access to international business, prospective investment options and diplomatic connections. Aside from attracting WTCA members from around the globe, the General Assembly imparts experience, business initiatives, and information benefiting sponsors eager to enter local area demographics. Program features include: plenary sessions, informal networking, trade missions, regional meetings, committee workshops and special events.

WOMEN LEADERS IN TRADE

The achievements of women in international business deserve special recognition. Their accomplishments serve as inspiration to others who have the potential to lead and build prosperity in their communities. The business acumen of women has been underutilized throughout the world from the smallest micro-enterprise up through the Fortune 500. Substantial progress has been made over the past 40 years, and it is clear that global business benefits from the increased presence of women at every level. Recognizing the successes of women in trade will highlight the importance of developing future leaders and the contributions they can offer.
